Ok. Now that you have read that post, let’s continue our discussion on positions.
Side by Side
This position promotes the most intimate and erotic act in marriage: kissing. The side by side position allows for prolonged kissing while enjoying your husband in you. There are two main side by side positions: face-to-face and spooning. Spooning is considered the most gentlest form of sex and is great for pregnancy, illness, or when tired. There is not much clitoral stimulation unless your husband manually stimulates with his fingers, which is just fine! However, this is not the best position for men with penis length issues.
Variations
- Have your husband lift his upper leg and bend the knee while you place one leg between his and the other on top of his body. You can also turn onto your back providing a wonderful view for your husband and promoting clitoral stimulation with his penis and leg. His hands are free to explore as well.
- In the spooning position, you can work your way onto your stomach with him still behind you. This is very pleasurable for most husbands. He can use his hand to stimulate your clitoris.
Sitting
This is a very erotic position for both you and your husband. It is great for being flirty and adventurous. It is also great for anywhere you want to make love (as long as you are secluded, of course). This position is also great for teasing each other with barely inserting his penis or him using his penis to stimulate the clitoris. Both of you have full access to each other and both arms are free for caressing and exploring and also for prolonged kissing. This is often a first position before moving to another one for more vigorous thrusting. Beware, though, that at certain times in the month, your cervix is lower and this position can be uncomfortable.
Variations:
- Variations are similar to the “Woman on Top” position discussed in the first post.
Man Kneeling Behind the Woman
This can make the woman uncomfortable because they fear the husband will be turned off by the back view, and she cannot see her husband to connect emotionally. You will probably not be very excited about this position. For your man though, this can be a nice variation to give him a nice treat. I.e. you are seeking to please your husband more than anything else. This is appropriate at times. Psychologically, there is something in a man’s psyche that finds this position very erotic.
Making Love is An Art
There are many more positions you can try. The ones in the last two posts are the most common. Keep this in mind: Positions are scientific–aligning body part with body part for stimulation. For the Christian couple, you are anointed to take lovemaking from science to an art. Use positions to set the mood, to flirt, and be creative. Think outside the box. There are plenty of other parts to use in lovemaking. Use positions to accommodate your spouse if he is tired or in pain and vice versa. If you are feeling frisky, be on top. If you want a long, relaxing session, take it slow and enjoy prolonged kissing.
One thing I DON’T want you to do is feel pressure to be DIFFERENT every lovemaking session. You want to know what really excites your husband and thrills him to his toes? Seeing you GENUINELY ENJOYING sex with him complete with moans, telling him what you like or go deeper, and seeing you orgasm. That is the most satisfactory part for him.
