Origins of Liberty

British lawyer and colonist, James Otis, Jr. was alarmed by the abuses of British law by its own government. He decided to take the Crown to court and defend the rights of colonists from Writs of Assistance and the Stamp Act and being sent to Quebec without a trial by their peers violating the five documents that established the laws for these things and more. The judges refused to made a decision, but several founding fathers were in the courtroom and said years later, the Revolutionary War was sparked then.

Mr. Otis’ arguments were put in pamphlets and circulated by the Committees of Correspondence birthing the Sons of Liberty and the dissemination of URGENT EDUCATION. This series is an informative training on the legal precedent of our founding documents, how we became states and what that means, and more. Included are ways that we can use the same URGENT EDUCATION tactics of our founding fathers to reverse the course of America!
