What YOu’ll learn:

What’s the big deal? isn’t it just semantics?

God is building His ekklesia a.k.a. the Tent of David, His rule on the earth. But isn't the word "church" the same thing as ekklesia? No. They are actually two different Greek words. And what if I told you that there was a concerted and organized effort to make us think that both were the same thing? In this lesson, I trace the history of the shift that occurred from organic ekklesia communities that shook and took nations to institutionalized, professional church systems. By the time you're done, you'll see how sly the enemy was. And you might be angry. That's ok. Just do something about it!

    What the heck happened?

How did early believers shift from 300 years of organic, close-knit communities operating in the power of God changing lives and shifting culture to buildings with “trained clergy” that do everything and even shut down others who don’t have a license or proper credentials? This lesson will trace the history of how we ended up where we are today plus show you what a gathering looked like in the book of Acts and the real purpose of leaders.

    Rebuilding ancient ruins.

What exactly is God building? What is He restoring? What are the ancient ruins He is raising up (Isaiah 61:4)? The answer might surprise you. But know this—by the time your done with this lesson, you’ll see how vital you are to His plan! You might also be surprised.

    Ancient Battle.

This is my favorite part of this course because it shows the WHY! Where did evil enter the earth? Many think when Adam and Eve fell, which is partially true. But a flood of evil came in with a key decision that Jesus came to reverse! By the time you’re done with this lesson, a lot of things will become clear—your role, demons, light and darkness, Jesus and why He came, and more. You will be challenged but everything is backed up with the Word!

    Two problems solved.

Two problems or questions always come up in Christendom—believers in sin and women in ministry. This lesson addresses both of those questions. How do you deal with a believer in sin? And what role can a woman have in ministry? What about those difficult passages concerning women? While this lesson isn’t comprehensive (I have more material on these topics), it will give you a good start and material to continue your own study.

    Pagan Christianity.

“Pagan Christianity” is a great book that traces the history of a lot of things we do in and as a church. Don’t let the title mislead you. It’s not saying Christianity is pagan nor is it an attack on Christianity and church. But it does show a clear history and difference from how the Holy Spirit first started building His house. Even though it’s a great book, there were three specific areas I didn’t agree with and didn’t feel were the full picture in Scripture—ministers of music, tithing and paid ministers, and baptism and the Lord’s supper. I rebut those things with scripture in this bonus video.
