Baalzebub

We continue with 2 Kings and the saga of disobedience which began in 1 Kings. Israel continues to spiral downward in faithlessness, and ultimately is defeated and dispersed by the Assyrians. Judah, the southern kingdom, had several kings who trusted God and attempted reforms. But after many years of God warning them through prophets, Judah’s sins were punished by Babylonian conquest. Through it all, God remained faithful to His covenant despite his people’s faithlessness. Also, dive into who exactly Baalzebub was and why it was such an insult for King Ahaziah to call on him instead of God for answers.
