Healing is yours

Healing Is Yours: Standing on God’s Word Without Wavering

Healing is not something we beg God for—it's something Jesus already paid for. Just as salvation was bought at the cross, so was your healing. The same blood that forgives your sins also heals your body. The Word of God makes it clear: healing is a finished work of the cross, and through faith, we receive what grace has already provided.

Jesus Bore Your Sickness

The Bible says in *Isaiah 53:4-5 (NKJV)*:

"Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses) and carried our sorrows (pains); yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."

These aren't symbolic words. This is literal. Jesus *took* our sickness and disease, just like He took our sin. When He hung on that cross, He carried every affliction—so you wouldn’t have to.

The New Testament confirms this. *Matthew 8:17* refers to Isaiah and says, *"He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses."* And again in *1 Peter 2:24*, we’re told, *“By His stripes you were healed.”* Past tense. It’s already done.

Healing and Salvation Go Together

The word “salvation” in the Greek is *sozo*, meaning to save, deliver, protect, heal, preserve, and make whole. Healing isn't a separate benefit—it's part of the package. When you were born again, the door to healing was opened just like the door to forgiveness.

God didn’t send Jesus to take care of part of the curse. He came to destroy the works of the devil (*1 John 3:8*)—all of them. That includes sin, sickness, oppression, and lack.

Faith Receives What Grace Has Given

Just because healing belongs to you doesn't mean it will automatically manifest. Just like you had to believe and receive salvation, you receive healing the same way—by faith.

*Romans 5:2 (NLT)* says, *"Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand..."*

And *Hebrews 11:1* tells us faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

We walk by faith, not by sight. That means even when the symptoms persist, the pain lingers, or the doctor’s report looks grim, we don’t let go of the Word. Faith doesn't deny the facts; it changes them. The truth of God’s Word is greater than the facts of your body.

Don't Waver—Stand Strong

*James 1:6-7 (NKJV)* says, *"But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord."*

Doubt opens the door to fear. Faith slams it shut.

We must guard our hearts, our mouths, and our minds. *Proverbs 4:20-22* says,

*"My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes... for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh."*

Stay filled with the Word! Speak it, meditate on it, decree it. Don’t wait for the feeling—act on the Word and let faith do the work.

Decree Your Healing

Life and death are in the power of the tongue (*Proverbs 18:21*). Speak life. Speak healing. Say what God says about you:

- “By His stripes, I was healed.”

- “The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me and gives life to my mortal body.” (*Romans 8:11*)

- “Healing belongs to me because I’m redeemed from the curse of the law.” (*Galatians 3:13*)

You’re not trying to get healed. You *are* healed—because God said so. You’re not trying to earn it. Jesus already paid for it.

Stay Filled and Fight the Good Fight

Healing often requires persistence. Keep your spirit full of the Word. Stay around faith-filled teaching. Guard against negativity and fear. Be bold and resist the enemy. *James 4:7* says, *"Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."* That includes resisting sickness.

Don’t let the devil talk you out of what Jesus died to give you. Healing is not a someday promise. It’s a *now* reality, received through faith.

Final Thought:

If Jesus died for it, you don’t have to live with it.

Refuse to let go of the Word. Speak it. Stand on it. Soak in it. Healing is yours—paid in full at Calvary. And by faith, you will see it manifest.
